Job Details

What You'll Do:

Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and deliver tailored power solutions.

Propose design concepts - whether by adapting current products or creating new ideas.

Create 3D models, drawings, and technical presentations to support proposals.

Provide key engineering documentation (specs, test results, plating analysis, etc.).

Engage cross-functional teams (thermal, simulation, lab testing) to validate designs.

Track industry trends and position products competitively.

Build trusted advisor relationships with customer engineering teams.

Lead or support Voice of Customer activities for new product development.

Travel occasionally to meet with customers and support projects.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.

2+ years of experience in design, applications, or technical support - ideally in connectors or related industries.

Skilled in 3D modeling and Product Data Management tools (e.g., Creo, Windchill).

Familiarity with server/storage/networking/data center architectures preferred.

Knowledge of industry standards (UL, EIA, IEC, Telcordia) a plus.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
