Must have: SAP S/4 Hana, Project Management, ECC to S/4HANA Brownfield migration.

 

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead an ECC to S/4HANA Brownfield migration with a strong focus on business stakeholder engagement, executive communication, and delivery governance. This role partners closely with business leaders to ensure key business outcomes are met while coordinating technical execution through internal teams and external partners.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have 10+ years of SAP project management experience; S/4HANA Brownfield migration experience required.
  • Strong business-facing leadership with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-team enterprise programs.
  • Solid understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments (technical depth not required).

 

Key Responsibilities

Program & Delivery Leadership:

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of the SAP S/4HANA Brownfield migration.
  • Own the integrated project plan, milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
  • Ensure alignment between business priorities and program execution across all workstreams.

Business Stakeholder & Executive Management:

  • Serve as the primary interface between business leadership, IT teams, and system integrators.
  • Establish and lead business stakeholder forums, steering committees, and executive reviews.
  • Ensure business requirements, readiness, and acceptance criteria are clearly defined and met.
  • Provide clear, concise executive-level status updates focused on business impact, risks, and decisions required.
  • Drive timely decision-making and escalation resolution with business and executive stakeholders.

Governance & Business Deliverables Oversight:

  • Define and enforce program governance, change control, and decision frameworks.
  • Maintain oversight of key business deliverables, including process readiness, testing sign-off, training readiness, and go-live approval.
  • Partner with business owners to ensure successful UAT, cutover readiness, and operational adoption.

Team & Vendor Coordination:

  • Coordinate internal teams, business process owners, and external partners to ensure accountability and delivery.
  • Monitor vendor performance against agreed milestones and quality standards.
  • Foster strong collaboration and communication across global and cross-functional teams.
