Job Details

Job purpose:
Support the HR Management in day-to-day HR related matters including new hire processes.
Duties and responsibilities
Responsible for recruitment, interviews, hiring decisions, and onboarding process
Determines appropriate resolution of Team Member grievances, discipline issues, or claims of any type of harassment.
Assists in coordinating HR projects such as company events
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
Conducts benefits enrollment for new employees
Conducts audits of various payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends any corrective action
Assists HR Management with various research projects and/or special projects
Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions
Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files
Prepares new employee files
Explains and determines appropriate implementation of company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants
Processes, verifies, and maintains documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications
Records data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, amount of sales or production, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations
Answers questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information
Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions
Requests information from law enforcement officials, previous employers, and other references in order to determine applicants' employment acceptability
Arranges for advertising or posting of job vacancies, and notify eligible workers of position availability
Prepares badges, passes, and identification cards, and perform other security-related duties
Performs other duties as assigned
Proactively addresses and corrects all unsafe behaviors and conditions.

Qualifications include:
Associates or bachelor s degree
Experience in both HR and Safety functions
Familiar with HR Information systems as well as MS office
Very detail oriented with excellent organization skills
Solid interpersonal skills
Perfect attendance
Proficient in all labor and payroll laws
Confidentiality
