Opportunity Overview:

iSphere is seeking an experienced SailPoint/SSO Software Developer for a long-term contract opportunity in Austin, TX. This role focuses on developing, configuring, and integrating SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) solutions and implementing single sign-on (SSO) with Okta and Azure AD in large-scale IT environments. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated developer with a proven track record in identity and access management (IAM) and modern authentication solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, implement, and manage software programs supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ deployment plans

  • Develop and configure SailPoint components, including workflows, rules, connectors, policies, and access certifications

  • Collaborate closely with Architects, Project Managers, Service Delivery Managers, and business analysts to deliver solutions aligned with project goals

  • Build and maintain API services to handle access policies, manage access requests, and integrate with external systems

  • Develop and implement Okta single sign-on integrations, including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect configurations

  • Participate in Agile or Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives

  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of identity management solutions to ensure functionality, security, and performance

  • Produce technical documentation, design artifacts, and deployment guides

  • Support go-live efforts and provide post-implementation technical assistance


Minimum Required Qualifications:

Years Required/Preferred Experience
6 Required Proven solution delivery experience using Agile or Scrum methodologies
6 Required Ability to collaborate effectively with Architects, Service Delivery Managers, and Project Managers on SailPoint IIQ deployment plans
4 Required Hands-on experience with SailPoint development (workflows, rules, connectors, policies, configurations)
4 Required Experience with Okta single sign-on integration
4 Required Ability to develop API services for access policy management and external integrations

Preferred Qualifications:

Years Experience
2 Experience working with Texas State Agencies or other public sector organizations
