Maintenance Technician - Keep Operations Running Strong in Lafayette!
Are you a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a workshop environment? We're hiring a Maintenance Technician in Lafayette, LA, for an exciting opportunity with a global leader in energy services. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional with at least 2 years of maintenance experience who wants to grow their career in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.
Hours & Pay
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with some weekends required)
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour or DOE (depending on experience)
What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly:
- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment under supervision
- Diagnose and repair equipment to meet company quality and certification standards
- Assist with rigging up, building, and rigging down equipment as needed
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload equipment (with proper license)
- Complete inspections and maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance
- Report incidents and non-conformances according to company procedures
- Maintain and update job packs, returning them to supervisors as required
- Coordinate with logistics, stores, and other departments to support operations
- Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and planning sessions
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety and efficiency

What We're Looking For
- Technical qualification with 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience
- At least 5 years of general work experience, preferably in a related product line
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work safely under supervision
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-focused
