We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work at our client site in Chandler AZ. This position is W2 hourly with Roth Staffing, with all work being directed by our medical equipment manufacturing client.
Shift: M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
It would primarily normal business hours 8am-5pm. It may periodically require early morning 5am and second/third shift production support.
Pay Rate Range: $41.33/hr. - $48.00/hr.
Description/Comment:
Provides engineering support to a manufacturing process, project or function. Evaluates manufacturing outcomes and implements continuous improvements and cost efficiencies. Supports NPI and new equipment/process introductions.
This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Roles typically require a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience. Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline. The job requires the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and no experience.
Additional Job Details:
This position will be required to sustain production lines being transferred to a new site. The manufacturing engineer will own the processes used on the production floor. They will interface with facilities to repair and maintain the production equipment. They will be responsible for process improvements to drive efficiencies, increase fpy, and address safety improvements as required. This position will primarily focus on yield improvements. They will interface with the sending site and another site that owns assembly of finished goods. The engineer must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will be responsible for collecting data and implementing sustainable solutions.
