Rate: $45-$50/hour (W2)
Length: Ongoing Contract
Location: Memphis, TN (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite/week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Systems Engineer (MCEM) to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Memphis, TN. This role will focus on managing and supporting the Microsoft Configuration Endpoint Manager (MCEM) infrastructure used to patch and maintain over 100,000+ servers and workstations.

As part of the team, you ll work directly with Microsoft and other third-party vendors to keep the endpoint infrastructure healthy, secure, and current. This role is ideal for someone experienced in Windows endpoint management, SCCM, and automation scripting, with exposure to Intune and cloud-based delivery optimization tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and maintain the MCEM/SCCM infrastructure and endpoint patching environment.
Assist with the rollout of Windows 11 24H2, Office upgrades, and KPI vulnerability remediation.
Perform SCCM client installation and troubleshooting, task sequencing, and configuration management.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure platform reliability and compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to endpoint performance, application deployment, and update distribution.
Document processes and configurations related to endpoint management.

Required Experience:

Minimum 7 years of relevant IT experience, including endpoint management and systems engineering.
Strong experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM).
Experience with Task Sequences, Office installation/troubleshooting/upgrades, and SCCM client health.
Basic understanding of Intune.
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and task execution.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with 1E Nomad, Delivery Optimization, and Microsoft Connected Cache.
Windows 11 deployment experience, particularly version 24H2.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Location Note:
This position is based in Memphis, TN, with 2-3 days per week onsite required.
