Job Title: PeopleSoft FSCM - (Techno-Functional or Functional)
Location: Sacramento, CA
Description:
Rock Woods has been tasked to fill a PeopleSoft FSCM - Accounts Payable SME position for our client located in Sacramento, California. This role will focus on providing functional and/or techno-functional expertise within the PeopleSoft FSCM 9.x environment, specifically in the Accounts Payable (AP) module.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the PeopleSoft FSCM Accounts Payable module.
- Collaborate with business users to capture and document user requirements, business needs, and functional designs.
- Perform fit/gap analysis and provide solution recommendations.
- Write functional specification documents, job aids, training materials, and test scripts.
- Work closely with the development team on solutioning, testing, and post-implementation support.
- Support new department onboarding and ensure smooth transition and operational handoff.
- Provide Level 2 Help Desk support, including managing tickets in an ITSM toolset.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical and functional issues within the AP module.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Technical/Functional Application Development and/or Support in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.x.
- 3+ years of experience specifically as a functional or techno-functional SME in the PeopleSoft Accounts Payable (AP) module.
- Proficiency with People Tools 8.5x, Oracle SQL, and PeopleSoft Queries.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Application Engine, SQR, People Code, and Crystal Reports (for techno-functional roles).
- Experience in gathering requirements, functional design, testing, and post-implementation support.
- Ability to create detailed documentation and deliver training materials.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools to manage incidents and service requests.
Preferred:
- Prior experience working on medium to large-scale software projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business and technical teams.
