MSP Systems Engineer

• 3+ year infrastructure engineer experience
  • Microsoft, Cisco, etc. certifications are big plus if not currently certified must be willing to acquire once hired based on client need/environment
  • Majority of issues are server based with some basic networking and security experience lots of server and network replacements and wireless access points
  • As with any role in the managed service space, this candidate must be willing to jump into a variety of IT tasks at any level
  • Ability to engineer/design solutions and give direction to field service engineers on IT work to be done
• Ideally this person will be coming from an MSP and understand how to prioritize and pivot based on client needs
• Personable as this role will be client facing
  • This person will assist on the presales side of the sales cycle with client site assessments
  • They will also help draft SOWs

Required Skill Sets:

• 3+ years Systems/Network engineering experience
• Windows Server experience
• Basic networking
• Pre-sales site assessment experience
• MSP background strongly preferred
• Certifications are strongly preferred
• Strong communications skills
