Description
We are looking for a skilled Data Reporting Analyst to join our team in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of centralized reporting functions and optimize data processes across various departments. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in enhancing reporting efficiency, troubleshooting system issues, and aligning data insights with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead weekly meetings with functional teams to prioritize reporting tasks and address ongoing needs.
Participate in bi-weekly discussions with pod teams to resolve break-fix issues related to reporting.
Prepare and deliver reports for bi-weekly payroll requirements while providing support for any arising issues.
Manage project-based reporting assignments and continuously improve report functionalities.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Payroll teams to ensure Workday reporting aligns with organizational processes.
Develop interactive dashboards and troubleshoot system-related challenges to enhance reporting capabilities.
Support data integration efforts using Workday APIs to streamline workflows and ensure seamless connectivity.
Utilize tools such as Workday Adaptive Planning and Prism Analytics to generate accurate insights.
Ensure proper alignment of reporting tasks with cross-departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience managing Workday reporting and data systems.
Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Prism Analytics, and Microsoft SQL.
Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as BusinessObjects Technologies and BIRT.
Familiarity with Workday ERP, HRIS, and Payroll functionalities.
Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable reports.
Experience with project management principles, particularly in IT and data-related projects.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Certification in Workday systems is preferred but not mandatory.
