Position: Dynatrace SRE / Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA - Hybrid
Duration: 12+Months with possible extensions
Key Responsibilities:
Act as product owner for Dynatrace observability, gathering and prioritizing requirements across departments. Develop and maintain Dynatrace dashboards, write and optimize DQL queries, and update configurations as needed. Create detailed design and process flow documentation describing how systems function in distributed environments. Collaborate with SREs and application teams to define metrics, dashboards, and alerting strategies. Analyze telemetry data for performance and reliability insights; support incident reviews and root cause analysis. Understand and explain Azure Function Apps and Logic Apps behavior, dependencies, and integration points. Support the adoption of OpenTelemetry (OTEL) for unified telemetry collection. Communicate clearly between technical and business stakeholders, ensuring observability meets organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 6 years of experience working with Dynatrace (SaaS or Managed) as an analyst, or product owner.
- Proven experience acting as a product owner or functional lead for observability or monitoring platforms.
- Strong understanding of Dynatrace architecture, including OneAgent, Smartscape, Davis AI, dashboards, and alerting.
- Experience working with Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Function Apps and Logic Apps.
- Solid understanding of application performance monitoring (APM) concepts, telemetry data types (metrics, logs, traces), and root cause analysis.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, cloud engineers, and operations teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with OpenTelemetry (OTEL) frameworks and integrations.
- Background in .NET development or understanding of .NET-based application architectures.
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or other observability platforms.
- Exposure to Retail business processes and store support center functions.
