IBM Optim Specialist Maximo / Data Archiving
Location: Dallas, TX
Rate: $60/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IBM Optim Specialist to support data archiving and lifecycle management initiatives at IBM/Oncor in Dallas, TX. The role involves conducting stakeholder interviews, analyzing Maximo data, and designing archiving strategies in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct stakeholder interviews across IT, business, and compliance teams
Review Maximo database size, performance, and data retention policies
Identify and analyze data candidates for archiving (e.g., Work Orders, PMs, Assets)
Assess the impact of archiving on reporting and operations
Analyze data dependencies and archive viability
Prepare and present recommendations and analysis reports to client leadership

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
3+ years hands-on experience with IBM Maximo
5+ years of experience with IBM Optim for data archiving and lifecycle management
Strong understanding of Maximo schemas and Oracle databases
Experience in writing and executing SQL scripts for data extraction/archiving
Familiarity with data compliance standards such as GDPR, SOX, etc.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Nice to Have:

Experience in utilities or asset-intensive industries
Prior experience with Oncor or IBM data lifecycle teams
