We are seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to architect, design, and lead the delivery of a next-generation Developer Portal that enables access to Treasury and Payments capabilities for internal and external developers. You will lead a cross-functional team using a React front end and Spring Boot microservices backend, ensuring best practices across the software development lifecycle.

< data-start="893" data-end="922">Key Responsibilities</>

  • Define solution architecture, coding standards, and DevOps strategy.

  • Guide design/code reviews and mentor engineers.

  • Research and integrate new tools, frameworks, and design patterns.

  • Build responsive, accessible UIs using React JS (Hooks, Context, TypeScript, Redux).

  • Develop scalable APIs and event-driven services using Java 17 / Spring Boot 3.

  • Implement secure authentication, RBAC, and rate-limiting controls.

  • Lead Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, release demos.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, UX, QA teams for requirement refinement.

  • Ensure Jira stories meet the Definition of Done and Ready.

  • Promote test automation (JUnit, Jest, Cypress) and observability (OpenTelemetry, Grafana).

  • Conduct performance profiling, tuning, and load testing to meet sub-200ms latency.

  • Enforce secure coding practices and perform regular vulnerability scans.

  • Engage with Treasury/Payments SMEs to model business processes.

  • Present architecture and progress to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with DevSecOps on CI/CD, blue-green deployments, and rollback strategies.

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience: 12+ years in software engineering; 3+ years in a Technical Lead role.

  • Frontend Expertise: React JS, HTML5, CSS-in-JS, responsive design, browser debugging tools.

  • Backend Expertise: Java 11+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, REST APIs, microservices.

  • Cloud/DevOps: AWS, Git, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab), Infrastructure as Code.

  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and agile team collaboration.

  • Container orchestration: Docker & Kubernetes

  • Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, caching (Redis)

  • API Gateway experience: Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, OpenAPI/Swagger

  • Security: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, security best practices

  • Event streaming: Kafka, Amazon MSK; reactive programming

  • Experience in Treasury, Payments, or FinTech environments
