Project Manager- Banking experience

Role Title: Project Manager- Banking experience Duration: January start date- through end of June

Location: Remote (EST hours required), travel monthly to Buffalo, NY (3 days onsite)

Our client is undergoing a major cloud-based financial transformation and is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple treasury/finance workstreams within a large-scale enterprise ERP modernization program. This role is highly visible, working across Treasury, Finance, Risk, and Technology to drive program governance, delivery, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead program management activities across treasury-related value streams: Calypso, FTP, CFE, ALM, OFSAA
• Manage workstreams related to Hedging, Investing, Funding, Collateral, Cash Management, and Treasury Risk Management
• Facilitate program meetings, capture notes, track action items, and maintain RAID logs
• Provide proactive risk, dependency, and issue management across teams
• Develop and maintain status reports and executive-level program materials
• Partner with business stakeholders and technology leads to ensure alignment in scope, timeline, and deliverables
• Drive change management activities supporting the broader financial systems transformation initiative

Required Experience

• Extensive banking industry experience MUST HAVE
• Treasury domain preferred: hedging, liquidity, cash management, ALM, FTP, collateral, investments, treasury operations, or treasury risk
• Strong Program Management leadership within large, complex, multi-year transformation programs
• Hands-on experience supporting cloud-based ERP or financial system transformation initiatives
• Proven ability to run governance meetings, produce executive reporting, and manage RAID processes
• PMP certification
• Agile experience
