Location: Providence, RI Hybrid (3 days onsite/2 days remote)
Work Week: 35 Hours

The Workday Integrations Manager leads the design, development, and maintenance of integrations between Workday and other systems, ensuring efficient and accurate data exchange. This role involves deep technical expertise with Workday tools (Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors), collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting issues, and managing projects to meet business needs. The position requires a strong understanding of FIN, HCM and payroll processes and best practices in integration, often including team leadership and strategic planning for the integration roadmap. 3-5 years of Workday experience required

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Oversee the entire lifecycle of integration projects, from discovery and requirements gathering to testing, implementation, and post-deployment support.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday integrations, staying current with Workday updates and industry best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, IT, Finance, and other business units to understand their needs and translate them into technical integration solutions.
  • Data Integrity and Performance: Monitor integration issues/errors and ensure data accuracy. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and escalate as appropriate. Maintain data governance processes and standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, quality, and security within the Workday Finance platform. Understand and ensure State security and data privacy standards are followed. Advanced knowledge of Role-based and User-Based Security and Domains, as it applies to Integrations security.
  • Strategic Leadership: Drive the development of integration strategy, best practices, and the overall Workday integration roadmap to support organizational goals.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Workday Integration Tools:

  • Proficiency with Workday EIBs, Core Connectors, and web services (REST/SOAP).
  • Familiarity with Workday Studio.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, and potentially Python or JavaScript for custom integrations.

Business Acumen:

  • Deep understanding of Finance, HCM, and Payroll processes and how they integrate with Workday and other systems.

Project Management:

  • Experience gathering, developing, and validating development against business requirements to ensure it meets the business needs.

Communication:

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with various technical and functional stakeholders.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Certifications:

  • Workday Integration certification is preferred.
