Role:Devops Engineer Open Shift(OCP)

Location: Hybrid Onsite Irving TX / Tampa FL

Duration: Long-term

Responsibilities:

OpenShift & Kubernetes

  • Design, deploy, and manage applications on Red Hat OpenShift (OCP).
  • Manage Kubernetes resources: Pods, Deployments, Services, Routes, ConfigMaps, Secrets.
  • Perform cluster operations including upgrades, scaling, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement RBAC, SCCs, and network policies.

CI/CD & Automation

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using:
    • OpenShift Pipelines (Tekton) / Jenkins / GitLab CI
  • Implement GitOps using Argo CD for declarative deployments.
  • Automate application builds using Docker, S2I, and BuildConfigs.
  • Manage container images and registries (OpenShift Registry, Quay, ECR/ACR).

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Automate configuration using Ansible.
  • Manage Kubernetes deployments using Helm and Kustomize.
