Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement).
- Guide and coach the Scrum Team on Agile principles and SAFe framework practices.
- Collaborate with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Product Management during Program Increment (PI) Planning.
- Support ART ceremonies, including PI Planning, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt sessions.
- Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, high team performance, and delivery excellence.
- Monitor team metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) and help the team improve over time.
- Ensure teams adhere to Agile best practices and compliance in regulated environments (if applicable).
- Work closely with Product Owner(s) to ensure well-groomed and prioritized backlogs.
- Coordinate dependencies across teams and ensure alignment with the larger ART.
- Act as a servant leader and coach for multiple Agile teams within the ART.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- 2+ years working in a SAFe Agile Release Train (ART).
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, Lean, and SAFe framework.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, VersionOne, Azure DevOps).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) and SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Agilist (SA) preferred.
