ONSITE in San Antonio TX- AI (Innovation) Tech Lead

Position: AI (Innovation) Tech Lead
Location: ONSITE in San Antonio, TX 78249
Duration: 6 months+
Working onsite at the client's office in San Antonio. Working directly with CTO and SVP on AI and fintech projects.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Development of Agentic AI Solutions: Architect and build intelligent agent-based systems that operate autonomously, make decisions, and adapt to dynamic environments.
Business Engagement & Problem Framing: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to deeply understand their goals, pain points, and processes.
Solution Design: Translate business problems into modular agent-based AI workflows using LLMs, tools, APIs, MCP and memory.
Prototype & Scale: Rapidly prototype AI agent solutions and work with engineering teams to productionize them.
Innovation Leadership: Drive internal innovation initiatives, contribute to strategic planning for AI adoption, and mentor cross-functional teams on agentic AI.

Required Qualifications

5 years of experience in AI/ML, with 2 years building autonomous or agentic systems using LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini etc.).
Strong software engineering skills in Python (or equivalent), including working with APIs, cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure), and orchestration frameworks.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and AI system architectures.
Demonstrated experience deploying AI solutions in real business settings with clear ROI or efficiency impact.
Strong knowledge of prompt engineering, context management, and tool-based agent frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with finance business
Familiarity with vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and knowledge graph integration.
Exposure to design thinking, agile development, or product management practices.
Master s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
