Description: Our client is currently seeking a Systems Engineer - IV
We're seeking a System Engineer IV with strong expertise in AI-driven development, Java microservices, and NSA architecture. The ideal candidate will leverage Prompt Engineering, GitHub Copilot, and LLM/SLM fine-tuning to enhance development speed and code quality.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer IV with expertise in AI-driven development, Java microservices, and NSA architecture. This role demands a forward-thinking engineer who can leverage AI capabilities like Prompt Engineering, GitHub Copilot, and LLM/SLM fine-tuning to accelerate development speed and enhance code quality. You will lead the design and development of complex systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• • Design and develop medium to highly complex systems within the NSA architecture.
  • Lead Java microservices development and support NSA, MARVEL, and OMNI deliverables.
  • Utilize AI tools and techniques to optimize code development and system performance.
  • Build and fine-tune LLMs/SLMs for enhanced engineering productivity.
  • Develop core APIs using AI-enhanced methodologies.
  • Collaborate with GTS and business stakeholders to implement business requirements.
  • Apply Agile practices across all development and project work.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and adherence to security best practices.
  • Deliver high-quality, tested code in collaboration with global development teams.
  • Drive tool consolidation and automation of performance metrics.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure code quality and timely defect resolution.
  • Lead end-to-end system architecture and development for complex e-commerce systems.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Coordinate with offshore development teams and vendors for interface/API solutions.
  
  
  Required Qualifications:
  
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in software/system engineering.
  • Proven experience in:
  • Java 8 reactive programming
  • Microservices architecture
  • Spring Boot framework
  • RESTful services (GET, POST, PUT) using JSON
  • Cassandra DB and PNO layer
  • AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS
  • DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Ansible
  • Test-driven development: JUnit, Selenium, Sonar
  • Monitoring tools: Kibana, Grafana
  • API proxy configuration and management
  • GraphQL and service-oriented multi-tier applications
  
  
  Preferred Skills:
  
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-based code generation tools.
  • Hands-on experience in building and fine-tuning LLMs/SLMs.
  • Familiarity with Telecom Wireless products and services.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and lead medium to large projects.
