Location: Charlotte, NC (Brevard Office)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite

In this role, you will contribute to the development and modernization of internal applications, with a focus on web UI redevelopment and cloud migration. You'll work on moderately complex engineering initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.
This position is part of a strategic effort to retire legacy systems, streamline the technology stack, and enhance business productivity through automation and modernization.

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team as a contingent resource. Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and support of internal applications, including the redevelopment of the Apollo platform and support for the VOYAG SaaS application.
- Participate in planning and execution of software engineering deliverables, including code reviews, testing, and deployment.
- Analyze and resolve moderately complex technical challenges, leveraging a strong understanding of software engineering principles and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of enhancements and support for inherited applications.
- Upskill in legacy and new technologies to support application transitions and business needs.
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering or equivalent experience through work, consulting, military service, or education.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

- Automated Testing - Intermediate
- Enterprise DevOps Tools (TFS, Git, SonarQube) - Intermediate

- Additional Skills:
- Experience with UI/UX design principles and building modern web interfaces.
- Familiarity with financial services or enterprise-scale applications is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
