Responsibilities

  • Epic Review & Breakdown: Analyze outstanding Epics, break them down into manageable user stories or tasks with clear finish points.

  • Requirements Challenge: Collaborate with clients to challenge and refine initial requirements, ensuring only essential functionalities are included. Guide prioritization aligned with project goals.

  • Scope Control: Manage project scope to avoid scope creep, support predictable delivery, and prevent escalations.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Bridge internal teams and clients, align deliverables and expectations, and translate requirements into actionable tasks.

  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current requirement-gathering processes and propose solutions.

  • Risk Management: Recognize and mitigate risks related to scope and requirements through proactive communication and planning.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven Experience: Strong background as a Product Owner, Lead Business Analyst, or similar in complex projects.

  • Rx Claims in a Mainframe Envt is a must to have skill.

  • Epic & Backlog Management: Skilled in breaking down large Epics using Agile practices such as backlog refinement and sprint planning.

  • Client Management: Capable of constructively challenging client assumptions and aligning expectations with realistic delivery goals.

  • Change Management: Experience managing large change requests (CRs), with control over timelines and scope.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical terms for business stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong analytical capabilities and proactive issue resolution.

  • Agile Methodology: Experience in Agile environments like Scrum or Kanban.

  • Familiarity with ExamWorks or similar projects.


Desired Skills

  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or other Agile project management software.

  • Certifications such as CSM, CBAP, or Agile/Business Analysis credentials.
