Description

SAIC is seeking an IT Project Lead to plan, direct, and manage software development projects and project personnel to support the customer's mission. You will be directly responsible and customer facing for planning, executing, and communicating project timelines for a full spectrum of important IT-focused, enterprise-wide lifecycle support. This includes DevOps, applied technology investigations, operations and maintenance, and infrastructure lifecycle support services across the customer's enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and lead customer and stakeholder sessions for the identification and refinement of technical and functional business requirements.

  • Serve as point of contact for non-routine to moderately complex installation projects for communication networks.

  • Convert customer requirements into well-groomed user stories and collaborate with the Scrum Master for one or more software development projects.

  • Develop long-term strategic objectives to ensure user requirements will be satisfied in future years.

  • Work in collaboration to drive organizational change management to adopt timely, cost effective and secure IT solutions.

  • Plan, document and coordinate new and existing business cases and projects that follow the customer's Governance life cycle. The role will include hands-on solution development, resource management, implementation support, and client management.

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate OCM, SDLC, and DevOps activities to bring value and impact to the customer.

  • Work closely with Business Relationship Managers to manage development of stakeholder priorities, milestones, and ensure successful project completion.

  • Analyze IT infrastructure and information needs of an organization from an operational and strategic perspective and determine immediate and long-range personnel and tool requirements.

  • Perform horizontal system integration planning and interface with other functional areas, ensuring technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner.

  • Deliver in person Project Management Reviews and presentations to multiple large groups of stakeholders.


Qualifications
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, management information systems, or related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant Project Management experience.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex, large Enterprise IT programs that include Service Delivery, Data Architecture, Cloud Engineering, Agile development, and DevSecOps.

  • Demonstrated experience defining measurable metrics to monitor progress.


Desired

  • An active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional or Program Management Professional.

  • An active Agile methodology certification (i.e. CSM or SAFe).

  • An active ITIL certification.

  • Experience in architecting, developing, and implementing enterprise business solutions utilizing Scaled Agile methodologies to include sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
