Encore Talent Solutions is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a position located onsite in Cincinnati, OH.

Job Description

The Business Analyst will play a key part in analyzing business and technical requirements to drive improvements in systems, data processes, and operational efficiency across IT and business units.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and operations to gather and document business and user requirements.
  • Lead the coordination, development, testing, and implementation of enhancements to new and existing systems.
  • Analyze complex system problems, identify solutions, and ensure successful resolution and delivery.
  • Create functional designs, visual process flows, and test acceptance criteria for unit and UAT phases.
  • Support data platforms through troubleshooting and execution of SQL scripts for ETL/data validation.
  • Provide input for project planning, readiness assessments, and other PM-related documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into detailed specifications and designs.
  • Mentor team members, manage multiple assignments, and continuously improve process efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in: SQL, Business Process Modeling, Requirements Gathering.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and project management principles.
  • 3 5 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with: ETL processes, data engineering concepts, data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Prior experience working in banking or financial services.
  • Exposure to tools like JIRA, Confluence, or project management software.
  • Advanced certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Advanced certifications or specialized training.
