Job Details
- Implement data profiling, cleansing, and validation routines to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of CalAIM data; establish automated data-quality checks and error-handling workflows.
- Collaborate with internal system owners and external vendors to configure and optimize secure data exchange via APIs, SFTP, and other approved integration methods, including support for FHIR or HL7 interfaces aligned with State and federal mandates.
- Partner with the Data Architect to implement physical data models and manage data environments across data lakes, warehouses, and hybrid storage solutions while optimizing performance, indexing, and partitioning for high-volume data transactions.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and County security standards by implementing encryption, access controls, and logging; support audit readiness with proper documentation and traceability of data movement.
- Prepare analytic datasets and reporting views to support dashboards, program performance metrics, and State-required CalAIM reporting; collaborate with analysts to validate logic and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, job schedules, interface specifications, and operational support guides.

- Data Integration Plan and ETL workflow designs, including documented architecture and process flows supporting CalAIM Pathway III.
- Fully operational and tested data pipelines enabling secure data exchange between systems and external partners.
- Automated data quality and validation framework ensuring continuous monitoring and remediation.
- Secure data exchange configuration aligned with County and State security and interoperability standards.
- Reporting-ready, curated, and validated data sets supporting CalAIM analytics and performance reporting.
- Comprehensive technical documentation and knowledge-transfer materials to support long-term sustainability and staff training.
