Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient SAP ME Lead / Senior Consultant to support a major FAA-compliant client initiative. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution) and SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence) with hands-on experience in integrating MES with SAP S/4 HANA. This is a client-facing role, focused on driving full-cycle implementations, configurations, and optimizations of SAP Manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation and deployment of SAP ME/MII solutions across diverse industries.

  • Work directly with clients to analyze business needs, define system requirements, and propose tailored SAP MES solutions.

  • Design and configure SAP ME functionalities like shop floor execution, data collection (DC), genealogy, PODs, returns management, and worker guidance setup.

  • Integrate SAP ME/MII with SAP S/4 HANA, including master data, order execution, quality and logistics interfaces.

  • Drive manufacturing process improvements by optimizing workflows, reducing downtime, and enhancing system reliability.

  • Conduct blueprinting, prototyping, testing, data migration, go-live support, and post-deployment stabilization.

  • Lead training sessions, workshops, and knowledge transfer activities for client users and IT stakeholders.

  • Collaborate across business units including Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and IT for seamless end-to-end integration.

  • Monitor system performance and suggest enhancements for scalability and reliability.

  • Support proposal (RFP/RFI) responses and client workshops as SME in SAP Digital Manufacturing.

  • Stay current with Industry 4.0, IoT, and cloud-based MES trends and solutions.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 6 15 years of experience in SAP Manufacturing Solutions (SAP ME and SAP MII).

  • Strong hands-on expertise in SAP ME Site Setup, Shop Floor Master Data, PODs, DC, Genealogy, Site-to-Site Transfer.

  • Proven experience with integration to SAP S/4 HANA (PP, QM, PM).

  • Experience in manufacturing process optimization, system customization, and solution architecture.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership skills.

  • Solid consulting experience, including process documentation and mapping.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Exposure to ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.

  • Experience working in application support and production environments.

  • Familiarity with other MES products and cloud-based MES solutions.

  • Experience with IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies.

  • PMP or similar project management experience is a plus.
