Role: - ServiceNow Software Engineer

Location: Rocklin, CA 95765 4 days onsite per week from Monday to Thursday

Duration: 6 Months+ Contract to start with rolling extensions long term opportunity

Interview Process: 2-3 Rounds

1^st preference is local candidate s; 2^nd preference is open to consider out of state candidates who will relocate day 1 upon offer confirmation.

Day to day:

• Operational support
• Prioritize stories and projects
• CMDB and ITOM of discovery and service mapping
• Automation workflow editor and designer
• Primarily Service Now but also handle Slack
• ITMS modules, change management, Incident management etc.
• Operational support across ServiceNow, focusing on CMDB, ITSM, and ITOM Discovery modules.
• Building data structures.
• Someone who can Provide reference example and outcome of what they accomplish in some of the module like CMDB, ITOM Discovery
• Good understanding work load editor, Automation

Top Requirements:

• 2+ years working in the ITSM or IT services/consulting industry preferred
• ServiceNow Development
• Familiar with CMDB
• Strong in ITSM
• ITOM nice to have
• 2+ years coding Service Now features, or similar platforms preferred
• Experience with ITIL Foundation level and other frameworks such as COBIT, IT4IT beneficial
• Experience with Web Services, API s, Database-level integrations/ETL
• Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Java etc.) and working a SaaS environment
• Experience in driving design and strategy around tools
• Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, and other technologies
• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and proven experience in technical development roles
