Job Description:
  • This role supports web application projects throughout the full system delivery lifecycle, focusing on the design, development, and deployment of high-quality applications.
  • The developer will work with Business System Analysts, IT teams, and testing staff to implement system enhancements and maintain existing applications.
Summary:
  • The position involves modifying, enhancing, and maintaining a portfolio of modern and legacy web applications while supporting the transition to a new system. Responsibilities include implementing feature requests, resolving defects, improving performance, and integrating with backend services.
  • The developer will analyze and modify existing codebases, develop services for system integration, create unit tests, and collaborate with BSAs and QA teams to ensure technical and business requirements are met.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Professional experience designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Angular or React.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs or equivalent backend experience in Java or Spring Boot.
  • SQL development experience including writing complex queries and basic query optimization.
  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle and modern methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows including branching and pull requests.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for full-stack application troubleshooting.
Experience:
  • Prior tax or financial technology experience is highly desired.
Responsibilities or Duties:
  • Design, develop, and deploy web applications.
  • Implement new features and enhancements.
  • Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality.
  • Review and contribute to technical designs.
  • Ensure applications meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Modify and maintain modern and legacy applications.
  • Analyze and update legacy codebases safely and effectively.

Should Have:
  • Experience working with both modern and legacy application environments.
Skills:
