Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead reporting modernization initiatives within the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in designing scalable data architectures, modernizing legacy reporting platforms, and implementing cloud-native solutions tailored to financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement modern data architectures including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Lakehouses using cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS).
Lead reporting modernization efforts using tools like Power BI, Azure ML, and MS Fabric.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable data solutions.
Ensure data governance, privacy, and compliance with banking regulations (e.g., C1/C2 controls).
Architect ingestion, processing, and consumption layers for cross-domain reporting (Finance, HR, CRM, etc.).
Support ESG data integration and fraud detection platforms for banking clients.
Optimize performance and scalability of reporting systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in data architecture and reporting modernization.
Strong expertise in cloud data platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS), ETL tools, and BI reporting.
Experience in banking or financial services, including fraud detection, ESG reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Familiarity with Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse, and DataOps concepts.
Proficiency in tools like Power BI, MS Fabric, Informatica, and Google Cloud Platform Data Fusion.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Gen AI and LLM-based data quality platforms.
Knowledge of Teradata to Google Cloud Platform migration, automated cloud deployments, and real-time decisioning.
Hands-on experience with DevOps/MLOps, containerization, and data virtualization.
