Position: Data Solution Architect

Location: Sacramento, CA -Remote

Job Description:

Mandatory Qualifications

Must pass a security background check and fingerprinting check completed by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a condition of employment with the California Department of Technology (CDT)/ Office of Information Security (OIS).

Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience within the last ten (10) years performing data analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation, with at least three (3) years in a lead role.

Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience analyzing data and situations, identifying, and solving problems, and developing effective solutions, with at least three (3) years in a lead role.

Must have at least a bachelor s degree in an IT related or engineering field from an accredited college or university.

Desirable Qualifications

Knowledge of business analysis, testing, training, and organizational change management (OCM) methodologies and best practices.

Ability to write objectives, mid-level data requirements, and detailed data requirements.

Ability to effectively deliver project assignments on time and with quality.

Ability to architect as-is data flows.

Ability to document a future architecture and entity relationship diagram.

Understanding of the principles, practices, and trends related to information security and information technology.

Ability to establish and maintain effective, cooperative and beneficial relationships on behalf of CDT with stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
