Job Title: Lawson ERP Systems Supervisor
Location: Remote with Occasional Travel

Our healthcare client located in the Southeast is seeking an experienced ERP Systems Supervisor. The Supervisor ERP Systems leads activities for a team of Lawson Systems Analyst and Software Developer professionals. The Supervisor directs, mentors, and evaluates the ERP Systems team. This position has authority for personnel actions and oversees all day-to-day operations of the group. This role is expected to provide expert knowledge of project management methodologies and documentation, including project request forms, project plans, status reports, process flow diagrams, functional requirements, SOWs, test plans, and others as needed.

Our healthcare client located in the Southeast is seeking an experienced ERP Systems Supervisor. The Supervisor ERP Systems leads activities for a team of Lawson Systems Analyst and Software Developer professionals. The Supervisor directs, mentors, and evaluates the ERP Systems team. This position has authority for personnel actions and oversees all day-to-day operations of the group. This role is expected to provide expert knowledge of project management methodologies and documentation, including project request forms, project plans, status reports, process flow diagrams, functional requirements, SOWs, test plans, and others as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead the ERP Systems team through projects, including upgrades and system enhancements
- Develop project plans, participate in budget planning and monitoring, status reporting, and staff assignment.
- Create test plans, coordinate testing activities, and ensure effective issue management.
- Manage the day-to-day IT operational and production support activities of the ERP Systems team
- Ensure production systems are maintained with reliable performance using appropriate change management and security.
- Coordinate and serve as first-level approver of team change control activities. Organize and manage on-call rotations and support the responsibilities of team members. Hold team accountable for project, incident, change, and service management policies and best practices
- Recruit, hire, and supervise team members. Conduct evaluations, annual reviews, and recommend promotions and merit increases. Identify skill gaps, coach, and develop team members to fill identified opportunities
- Monitor vendor tickets to ensure team members and customers are receiving reliable service. Communicate and escalate identified deficiencies. Recommend improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate positive customer relationships through collaboration and communication
- Serve as the ERP Systems team's primary liaison to business area customers. Advocate for business area initiatives to support achievement of business goals. Coordinate regular meetings with business area customers to support effective collaboration and communication. Collaborate with business areas and ERP Systems team members to identify process gaps and develop solution alternatives.
Minimum Required
- Minimum five (5) years system development, implementation, and support experience is required OR Associate's degree with an additional four (4) years of relevant technology experience plus the five (5) years (for a total of 9 years) experience may be considered "in lieu" of a Bachelor's degree OR High School Diploma with an additional five (5) years of relevant technology experience plus the five (5) years (for a total of 10 years) experience may be considered "in lieu" of a Bachelor's degree
- Strong applications development and support experience; business and back-office systems preferred
- Experience in day-to-day IT operations, production support, and service management methodologies; ITIL preferred
- Strong project management skills
- Proven ability to learn new skills and technology
- Demonstrated analytic, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Demonstrated consultation, negotiation, and conflict management skills
- Ability and interest in coaching and mentoring team members
- Demonstrated experience with IT standards and best practices for application development, service management, and project management
- Performance improvement/process management knowledge and experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and website navigation
