Overview
ComTec is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce UI/UX Developer with expertise in Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Experience Cloud. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design and development, delivering intuitive, performant, and scalable Salesforce experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, responsive, and accessible UIs within Salesforce Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, and custom apps.
- Customize Experience Cloud themes, layouts, and components using SLDS, CSS, and declarative configuration tools.
- Ensure UI solutions follow Salesforce best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG), and branding guidelines.
- Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC) with advanced styling.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and accessibility compliance (WCAG/ARIA).
- Optimize performance by applying lazy loading, code splitting, and asset optimization techniques.
- Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) for high-performing portals.
- Leverage design tokens and CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS) for scalable styling.
- Partner with product managers, Salesforce architects, and business stakeholders to deliver engaging, user-friendly solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 9+ years of experience in UI/UX development, with at least 5 years on Salesforce platforms.
- Expertise in Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and Experience Cloud UI customization.
- Strong knowledge of LWC (Lightning Web Components) with advanced styling.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive layouts, and CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS).
- Skilled in prototyping & design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, Framer) and design systems.
- Experience in performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, code splitting).
- Familiarity with Salesforce CMS, declarative tools, and modern frontend frameworks (React/Vue).
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience in Experience Cloud (Communities/Portals) design and development is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for visual design, usability, and details.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile development, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps for Salesforce.
