Our challenge

We are looking for a skilled QA Process Manager to lead the QA team in developing detailed test plans and test cases for software releases, ensuring that all functionalities are covered.

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the QA team in developing detailed test plans and test cases for software releases, ensuring that all functionalities are covered.
  • Educate and guide the team on the change management process, including impact analysis, and ensure adherence to best practices during software development and deployment.
  • Develop and implement robust QA processes and strategies, integrating them seamlessly with existing development workflows.
  • Manage and mentor QA analysts and testers to build a cohesive and effective team.
  • Establish key quality metrics and set up systems to track and monitor these metrics over time.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is maintained through the software development lifecycle, including post-deployment.
  • Conduct regular process reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure that test plans and QA activities align with customer requirements and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with the development team to support automated testing strategies and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Facilitate effective change management to accommodate project updates and revisions while maintaining quality standards.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and tools in quality assurance and introduce innovative practices to the team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in QA, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in developing effective test plans and managing change processes.
  • Thorough understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Proficient in automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with quality metrics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and lead by influence.

It would be great if you also had:

  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Exposure to cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
