Description
We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing innovative solutions for critical components of our platform. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and provides an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement microservices architecture across various applications.
Create detailed technical documentation to support design and solution proposals.
Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones to ensure seamless project execution.
Conduct thorough testing and code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
Manage project tasks and workflows within an Agile framework.
Mentor and guide team members to support growth and development.
Apply best practices in CI/CD processes and containerized application deployment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a software developer.
At least 2 years of experience with AWS Cloud services.
Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Ruby, Node.js, Java, and Python.
Hands-on experience with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes using GitHub and automation scripting.
Working knowledge of Linux platforms and on-premise infrastructure.
AWS certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
