RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Developer in Test in Juno Beach, FL.
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Developer in Test to join our team working on the Gen Data Mart project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, with specific experience in backend data validation and BI-related application and will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior leads and other team members to implement effective testing strategies and contribute to continuous improvement in our testing processes.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for the main workflow, using industry-standard tools and frameworks
* Utilize standard test automation tools and technologies relevant to the tech stack - this will include but not limited to .NET, backend postgres DB, Power BI, and cloud services such as EC2s, S3s, Lambdas etc.
* Work closely with senior leads and other team members to understand test requirements and create comprehensive test plans; Incorporate best practices in test automation deliverables
* Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure thorough understanding of requirements, leading to effective test case creation
* Execute automated and manual test cases as needed, logging and tracking defects through to resolution
* Ensure that automated tests are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline, providing timely feedback on application quality
* Create detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results
* Provide clear and concise test reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting testing progress, quality status, and defect trends
* Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment
* Identify, document, and track defects in a detailed and organized manner
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
* Strong understanding of testing methodologies, frameworks, and industry best practices
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
