BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Network / System Engineer V opportunity Chicago, IL.

Position Title: Network / System Engineer V/Platform Support Engineer

Location: Chicago, IL

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12 months Contract

Job Type: PART TIME, CONTRACT, Hybrid

Pay Range: $60/hr -$63/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due the factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

  Position Description

  
  


• Develops the engineering approach for the entire platform solution, working with Architecture to analyze and deliver implementation of technical enablers

• Generate ideas on reducing design complexity and solution approaches


• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the platform support lifecycle


• Explore technologies to improve supportability, and efficiency of the platform


• Drive platform performance and scalability solutions


• Mentor junior admins in platform support, ensuring future supportability is maintained


• Establish standards and lead towards automation and best practices


• Address regulatory and performance driven requirements of the infrastructure and platform
