Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the Network Architect - Contractor is to design and manage complex network infrastructures that align with organizational goals. This position requires extensive experience in networking technologies and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure optimal network performance, security, and scalability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement scalable, high-availability network architectures, encompassing both physical and software-defined networking (SDN).
  • Develop and manage hybrid and multi-cloud networking solutions, ensuring seamless integration across CoLo, on-premises, and cloud environments.
  • Oversee the configuration and management of routers, switches, load balancers, and SDWAN/WAN/LAN/VLAN technologies to optimize network performance.
  • Utilize advanced networking protocols such as IPv5/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VPN to enhance network security and reliability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align network designs with business objectives, ensuring effective budgeting and risk assessment.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, influencing organizational strategy for network investments while maintaining meticulous documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • 15+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture, with a focus on data center, Azure cloud, and hybrid networking.
  • Expert-level knowledge in Multi-Cloud, CoLo, and on-premises networking solutions.
  • Proficiency in advanced network design and architecture, focusing on scalability and high availability.
  • In-depth understanding of SDN, NFV, microservices, and various networking technologies, including Cisco, Arista, Juniper, F5, and Palo Alto.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for effective communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of diagnosing and resolving complex network issues under pressure, using logical reasoning and data-driven approaches.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, F5 Certified, Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer).
