We are looking for a Solution Architect in NY (Hybrid, 2 to 3 days onsite/week)
Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices-based systems. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid cloud/on-prem integration.
Proven experience with compliance frameworks and secure architecture design.
About the Role:
We are looking for a visionary Solution Architect to lead the design and governance of complex, distributed, and scalable enterprise systems. This role requires deep technical expertise in Java/Spring Boot, cloud and hybrid architectures, and enterprise integration patterns, along with the leadership skills to drive architectural excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect end-to-end enterprise solutions across on-premises, off-premises, and cloud-native environments.
- Design and implement distributed systems with a focus on low latency, high throughput, resilience, and scalability.
- Apply enterprise architecture patterns, microservices, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design (DDD).
- Ensure systems are designed with security, compliance, and data privacy in mind (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Establish and lead a Center of Excellence (CoE) for architecture, driving standardization of practices, tools, and frameworks.
- Collaborate with Principal Architects and senior stakeholders to define and enforce architecture principles, guidelines, and reference models.
- Lead the development of technology roadmaps, strategic initiatives, and modernization programs.
- Partner with executive leadership to align technology strategy with business goals.
- Provide architectural oversight and mentorship to engineering teams across multiple domains.
- Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and performance evaluations.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering and enterprise architecture.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices-based systems.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid cloud/on-prem integration.
- Deep understanding of networking, databases (SQL/NoSQL), API design, and system observability.
