Advanced Infrastructure Developer

The infrastructure developer must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant development experience within the networking domain using programming/scripting languages e.g Python

• Understanding of various network devices Routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers.
• Good Understanding of version and revision control practices and procedures.
• Understanding of various OS, database servers, datacenters.
• Knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking terminology, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resiliency.
• Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming/scripting/devops languages: Python, Ansible, Terraform, JSON
• Good Understanding of microservices, CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, REST APIs as well as container-based deployment models.
• Experience in standard industry change management processes and implementing methodical infrastructure change processes in a high-risk environment.
• Understanding of IP addressing and network protocols.
• Self-Starter who can take initiative and has the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Must have strong communications skills both written and verbal
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication
• Strong work ethic with a results oriented mindset
• Ability to collaborate with different roles and different levels across different teams to achieve common goals
• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills in a large enterprise environment
• Organized and able to follow JPMC processes designed to minimize risk to the environment
