Role Overview:

We re seeking a highly skilled Excel professional to design, develop, and optimize complex spreadsheet tools and dashboards. You ll automate data processes, perform in-depth analysis, and collaborate with teams to drive data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain advanced Excel models, including complex formulas (e.g., XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, array formulas), pivot tables, and dynamic dashboards
  • Automate repetitive tasks via macros/VBA scripts, including custom functions (UDFs) and Lambda usage
  • Leverage Power Query / Power Pivot to extract, transform, and model external data
  • Utilize tools like Solver, Goal Seek, and scenario tables for advanced what-if and optimization analysis
  • Implement data cleaning & validation: using text-to-columns, filters, conditional formatting, data validation rules
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards with charts, sparklines, slicers, and visual cues for executive reporting
  • Ensure model integrity, performance optimization, documentation, version control, and sharing across teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve formula errors, file corruption, and integration issues across Office apps
  • Provide training and support to business users; promote Excel best practices and empower teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, IT, Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building advanced Excel solutions
  • Expert proficiency in formulas (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, array functions), pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting
  • VBA & macros development experience, including debugging and custom functions
  • Practical experience with Power Query / Power Pivot / Data Model
  • Knowledge of Solver, Goal Seek, Whatif analysis tools
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex data insights clearly
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or in teams

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python or integrating Excel with databases
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet architecture principles, named ranges, modular design, workbook best practices
  • Familiarity with version control, documentation of assumptions, and model traceability
  • Financial or engineering modeling experience in Excel
