Job Title: Major Incident Manager (MIM)

Location: San Francisco / Sunnyvale / Dallas / Seattle (Hybrid/On-site)

Duration/Term: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Major Incident Manager (MIM) with a strong technical background and leadership skills to oversee critical incident resolution, drive process improvements, and ensure seamless communication between teams and clients. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of IT experience, including 3-5 years in Major Incident Management, and a proven ability to lead under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end Major Incident Management (MIM), ensuring rapid restoration of services.
  • Act as the primary POC for high-severity incidents during US business hours.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, DevOps, Support) to resolve critical outages.
  • Develop and optimize MIM processes, including escalation workflows and post-mortems.
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs and deliver clear incident reports to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior MIM analysts to improve response efficiency.
  • Collaborate with clients to align incident management with business needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years in IT, with 3-5 years in Major Incident Management (MIM) for enterprise clients.
  • Technical background (e.g., SysAdmin, DevOps, Infrastructure, IT Support) preferred.
  • ITIL/Agile/DevOps knowledge is a plus.
