Secret Cleared Linux/Windows Systems Administrator

Our client, a large government contractor located in Linthicum, MD, is in need of a Linux/Windows Systems Administrator to work onsite for a 6-month contract engagement. This role will be working in an environment that is mainly Linux (70%) with Windows Servers (30%) mixed in. The Systems Administrator will perform both Linux and Windows administration for a classified government contact. Duties will include maintaining the operation of the entire computer infrastructure on the program including systems, software, security, end user support, and networks. The Systems Administrator will deploy STIGS, perform vulnerability remediation with RMF and JSIG Standards, and use Splunk to maintain indexers.

Required Skills

• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
  
• Associate's degree and 7 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or Master's degree and 3 years of experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
  
• Prior experience as a Redhat Linux Systems Administrator
  
• Experience as a Windows Systems Administrator (With Windows Active Directory)
  
• Prior experience with monitoring tools such as SPLUNK/Solar
  
• VMware experience (most recent version highly preferred)
  
• Prior experience with STIGS, RMF, and JSIG
  
• Basic understanding of networking, routing, subnets, and VLANs
  
• Candidates must obtain a Security+ certification
  
• Candidates must be US Born Citizen per customer requirement
