Job Title: Senior Product Designer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
*Contract-to-Hire Opportunity*
What You'll Be Doing:
- Immerse yourself in user contexts, learning internal workflows such as financial reporting, procurement, and invoicing to deeply understand user challenges.
- Translate complex workflows into streamlined SAP S4/Hana solutions, accounting for both digital and offline processes.
- Create low-fidelity mockups using SAP Fiori components to clearly convey design intent.
- Adapt and finalize UIs using existing or newly created SAP Fiori components, with minor modifications as needed.
- Conduct UI testing with real users using tools like SAP Build Me and Figma.
- Iterate designs based on stakeholder and user feedback, ensuring alignment and ongoing improvement.
- Champion consistent, high-quality user experiences across the entire product suite.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Design, Product Management, and Engineering.
What You'll Need to Have:
- SAP and ERP Experience
- Experience with SAP/Fiori or other ERP/SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
- Background in designing out-of-the-box enterprise-level ERP systems for large-scale implementations.
- Product Design Expertise
- 7+ years of experience in UX and product design.
- Deep product thinking-considers downstream operational implications and scalability.
- Skilled at identifying dependencies across product suites and features.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams from concept to launch.
- User Experience Research
- Strong understanding of user research methodologies and user testing practices.
- Ability to analyze user needs and synthesize findings into actionable design solutions.
- Expertise in distinguishing user wants from true user needs.
- Tool Proficiency & Education
- Proficient in industry-standard tools such as Figma, Miro, and prototyping platforms.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI depth, problem-solving, and measurable impact.
- Degree in Interaction Design, Computer Science, or related field-or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Clear communicator with a sharp ability to grasp complexity and prioritize key issues.
- Execution, Strategy & Communication
- Comfortable with ambiguity; a proactive self-starter.
- Scrappy and adaptable-able to use low-fidelity mockups or visualization techniques to quickly align teams.
- Strong communicator who can clearly articulate design intent and present solutions to stakeholders.
- Skilled in wireframing, user flows, mockups, and prototyping.
- Requirements Interpretation & Design Systems
- Ability to interpret direction from Service Design Managers and convert into scoped design work.
- Understands and applies business context to product design decisions.
- Capable of utilizing insights from research and testing to iterate and improve designs.
- Experienced in documenting UI component libraries and establishing/revising design guidelines.
