We are looking for a Space Data Analyst, to join our Occupancy Planning and Management team.
Role Purpose
The focus of the Space Data Analyst role is to manage CAFM/IWMS systems and space/occupancy data for assigned client portfolios, delivering analysis and reporting that supports global real estate decisions.
The Space Data Analyst will be responsible for delivering accurate data, drawings and reporting within an assigned client portfolio(s) using a CAFM/IWMS database system and other tools. They will process updates of space and people data, perform data and drawing audits, and participate in data governance programs. The Space Data Analyst will be responsible to validate space and occupancy data and report out on occupancy metrics including supply/demand, vacancy, density, utilization, and cost metrics.
The role will collaborate and communicate with other members of the occupancy planning team, Space Administration team, and client partners in order to provide space data and occupancy metrics that contribute to delivering occupancy and real estate decisions and strategies. In addition, this position will require collaboration with team members not under direct management or supervision including occupancy planners, project managers, facilities manager, the CAFM technology team and the Global CAD services team.

We are looking for a Space Data Analyst, to join our Occupancy Planning and Management team.

What this job involves
Key responsibilities:
Managing client portfolio drawings and data, providing critical data reporting to support strategic planning functions. This role also involves sharing critical data with other relevant technology solutions as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain relationships and manage workflows to facilitate data accuracy
- Manage recurring processes to collect, validate, maintain and manage client data and drawings
- Ensure compliance with client's data governance program to define, categorize and measure client space and occupancy data
- Maintain accurate data in the CAFM/IWMS database application
- Validate data to determine readiness for reporting and
- Add or remove buildings, floors, space and/or employee and organization data to reflect portfolio changes
- Perform required data and drawing audits according to account procedures, including managing the schedule, results tracking and
- Provide reporting as agreed with the client
- Complete ad-hoc requests for queries from CAFM database on space and occupancy data as requested by client
- Report issues related to CAFM application to the CAFM/IWMS Administrator or submit trouble tickets to the technology help desk as appropriate and perform testing of application hot fixes, and new enhancements and modifications as requested
- Train client end users on use of CAFM/IWMS for move requests and reporting
- Apply working knowledge of office space categorization principles (FICM, BOMA, OSCRE, etc.) including circulation, egress, common, core and amenity; and literacy in reading and interpreting floor plans, to the client's portfolio data
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience
- Advanced knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience with commercial (office) architectural, engineering or construction drawings
- Knowledge of CAFM/IWMS technology (FM:Systems/OpenBlue, TRIRIGA, Archibus, etc
- Proficiency in MS Office Outlook, Word and Excel required
- Ability to effectively meet and accommodate deadlines on multiple projects
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and provide timely feedback and guidance to the Occupancy Planning Team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in space/occupancy planning, highly desirable
- Working knowledge of office design principles and trends, such as mobile or collaborative workplaces
- Experience with data visualization and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint) to effectively communicate planning strategies
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices
