- We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative individual to join our growing team! Dahl Consulting is currently partnering with a leading software company. - Contract Duration: 1 year
- Worksite Location: 100% Remote
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Compensation: $30.00 per hour
- Perform comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features and functionalities, ensuring they meet business requirements and quality standards
- Validate code against a weekly agile shipping schedule, collaborating closely with developers and data engineers to ensure seamless deployments
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies; work with the development team to ensure timely resolution
- Conduct thorough data validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across our systems, including SQL Server and Cosmos DB databases
- Test and refine User Interfaces (UI) built with Blazor and Fluent UI to ensure they are intuitive, responsive, and provide an excellent user experience
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and technical documentation for all testing activities
- Create and maintain process diagrams and documentation to ensure consistency in our testing processes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development and QA processes by providing data-driven insights and recommendations
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years of experience in a UAT, software testing, or QA role
- Proven experience with both manual and automated testing processes
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Technical proficiency with scripting or programming languages such as C#
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and querying
- Excellent documentation, diagraming, and version control skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset
