Job Details

Manage and administer IBM z/OS systems on a daily basis.

Proficient in the use of SMP/E to install and maintain mainframe system software products

Hands-on use of the Hardware Management Console to define and modify mainframe partitions

Monitor system metrics to recommend performance and tuning improvements

Provide expert technical guidance and support to the project team.

Collaborate with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of the infrastructure.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to IBM z/OS systems and sub-systems

Ensure the security and integrity of the infrastructure at all times.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience as an IBM z/OS Administrator or in a similar role, working with IBM z/OS operating system architecture, administration, and performance tuning

Minimum of 3 years of SMP/E experience including installing and maintaining mainframe system software products.

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
