TEKsystems is working with one of our local companies on island to hire a UX Designer! Are you passionate about creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences? We're partnering with a Hawaii-based company to find a UX Designer who will lead the user experience design process - from research and discovery to wireframes and prototyping - for a modern system platform. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and the Marketing Design team to shape how customers engage with core system processes. Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research and translate insights into journey maps, task flows, and experience improvements.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models to clarify complex workflows.
- Lead UX strategy and design for product features from discovery through delivery.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Designer to ensure UI elements align with brand and design system standards.
- Contribute to the evolution of the internal design system with a focus on usability and scalability.
- Advocate for the user while balancing business goals and technical feasibility.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in UX design for digital products, especially SaaS or business platforms.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles applied to complex systems.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, with the ability to build and communicate interactive prototypes.
- Experience designing and documenting within a design system.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A mindset that values continuous improvement, experimentation, and customer empathy.
