Role: SAP ABAP Developer (Fullstack)
Location: 100% On-site in San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6+ Months

Required
Expertise in ABAP and data modelling
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC and Data modelling concepts
- Strong full lifecycle ABAP custom development skills including BAPI/BADI/Enhancement Framework, workflows and Dialog programming
- Ability to take high level functional design documents and develop ABAP solutions independentl
- Strong communication skills
Preferred
- Experience in working with S4 Hana, Gateway Services, OData, CDS views, RAP framework
Deliverables
Work with technical team for design and analysis of solutions.
Work with functional team members of the project to develop solutions as prioritized by the project team.
Resolve system defects raised by the project team during testing phase.
Precise and timely communication with the project team.
Develop a good understanding of Application architecture and database design.
Adhere to Valero Standards of development.
Follow the Valero change management process for application deployment.

Enterprise IPT : The purpose of this project is for the implementation of an enterprise solution for the Inventory Projection Tool that will enable our Product Supply team to migrate away from the Access-based solution they have today to an enterprise-worthy solution that is fully integrated with SAP.
- Work with functional team members of the project to develop new IPT tools as prioritized by the project team
- Develop custom SAP UI5 applications for the IPT enterprise solution using good application architecture and database design principles
- Design, customize and implement CDS views, ODATA services and UI5 screens as per requirements
- Assist client team members in troubleshooting and analyzing issues in the IPT application
- Adhere to client Standards of development
- Follow the client change management process for application deployment
- Provide training and knowledge transition of the IPT tools to internal client project team members
