Job Details
Title: Service Delivery Manager
Location: San Jose, CA
Need a Service Delivery Manager who should have experience in projects like
- Data warehouse or lake implementations.
- BI and reporting platform rollouts.
- Migration of legacy data systems to the cloud.
- Data governance framework deployment
- Strong understanding of data platforms (e.g., SQL, data warehouses, cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Should have more than 10+ years of experience and have extended experience in running projects end to end.
Requirements :
Project Planning & Execution
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Track progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, data analysts, business intelligence, and product teams.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Facilitate meetings, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve project issues and conflicts as they arise, escalating when necessary.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure data governance, security, and quality standards are adhered to.
- Oversee testing, validation, and sign-off processes for data products and solutions.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain clear documentation of project plans, decisions, risks, and lessons learned.
- Deliver regular status reports and dashboards to senior leadership and stakeholders.
