Data Management Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6 Months
Pay: $75.00 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Analyst to provide strategic consultation, oversight, and governance of critical data. In this role, you ll partner with technology, business, and data product leaders to establish standards, policies, and best practices for data flow, quality, documentation, and remediation. This is a high-impact position working directly with senior leadership on innovative, large-scale data management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Consult as a subject matter expert on complex Data Management initiatives
- Define and implement long-term, scalable data solutions across business and technology functions
- Provide expertise to senior leadership on innovative data solutions and governance strategies
- Support data analysis, modeling, reporting, and quality oversight
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in Data Management, Analytics, Business Analysis, or Project Management
- 10+ years in Finance/Banking (or equivalent work, training, military, or education)
- Advanced SQL skills; proficiency in Oracle, SQL Server, and other databases
- Strong data modeling, reporting, and communication skills
Desired Skills
- Domain knowledge in Loans, Traded Products, Deposits, or GL
- Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, and cloud/big data technologies (Google Cloud Platform, Azure, PySpark, Hive, Hadoop, Python, S3, Parquet, Iceberg)
