A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a < Test Manager/Lead - Automation>

Position type: Full-time - Contract

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Charlotte, NC Hybrid role

We are looking for a seasoned Test Manager with a strong background in Agile methodologies, test automation, and Selenium to lead QA initiatives. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on technical expertise, and leadership to drive quality across software development lifecycles. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automation, quality engineering, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage QA teams across Agile development projects.
  • Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, including manual and automated testing approaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the Agile lifecycle.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test suites using Selenium and other automation tools.
  • Drive the adoption of automation frameworks and CI/CD integration for continuous testing.
  • Monitor test execution, defect tracking, and reporting to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Evaluate and implement new testing tools and technologies to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Mentor QA engineers on automation best practices and Agile testing principles.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements where applicable.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software testing, with 3+ years in a Test Manager or QA Lead role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester, or equivalent certification

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $55/hr to $60/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
